Philippi Trust South Africa is part of an international organisation, abiding by certain ethics and practise, but has autonomy in its daily running.
Accountability structure includes:
• An inter-denominational board of Trustees drawn from a variety of professions and incorporating a Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary, who meet quarterly through the year and ad hoc where necessary, incorporating a Annual General Meeting.
•Management Team including the Philippi Trust Director, Financial Manager, Training Manager as well as the HIV/TB Counselling and Testing Manager.
• Philippi Trust has been audited by BGR Aucamp Scholtz and these accounts presented at our Annual General Meetings. The office operates on a Pastel accounting system.
• All counsellors recieve ‘in house’ and external supervision by registered professionals and operate according to a Code of Ethics and Practise.
• All training offered is to specified standards of practise.
• Indemnity insurance covers our counsellors and trainers.
• Electronic data base of students and personnel
• Internal auditing of systems operating
• Independent assessment of training by student interviews and spot checks. |
